3. Purposes and Legal Basis for Processing
Personal data submitted through website forms is processed to respond to enquiries and, where requested, to schedule a site visit or maintenance-related communication. The legal basis for this processing is Article 6(1)(b) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), being the steps necessary prior to entering into a contract, and Article 6(1)(a), consent, where cookies or optional communication channels are used. Where applicable Polish law imposes retention obligations, for example for accounting records connected to an executed contract, the legal basis additionally includes Article 6(1)(c), compliance with a legal obligation, under the Polish Accounting Act (Ustawa o rachunkowości).
4. Data Retention Periods
Enquiry data submitted through forms that does not result in a signed contract is retained for a period of up to 24 months from the last contact, after which it is deleted unless a longer retention period is required by law. Data connected to an executed maintenance or installation contract is retained for the duration of the contractual relationship and for the period required under Polish tax and accounting law thereafter, generally five years from the end of the relevant fiscal year.
5. Recipients of Data
Personal data may be shared with subcontractors directly involved in delivering a requested service, such as structural engineers or installation crews, strictly to the extent necessary to carry out the specific task. Data may also be shared with IT hosting providers acting as data processors under written data processing agreements, and with public authorities where disclosure is required by Polish law. We do not sell personal data to third parties.
6. International Data Transfers
Where a service provider used for hosting or communication tools is located outside the European Economic Area, transfers are carried out only where appropriate safeguards are in place, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, in accordance with Chapter V of the GDPR.
7. Your Rights Under GDPR
Under the GDPR and the Polish Act of 10 May 2018 on the Protection of Personal Data (Ustawa o ochronie danych osobowych), individuals have the right to access their personal data, request rectification or erasure, restrict or object to processing, request data portability, and withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal. A complaint may also be lodged with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych, UODO), the supervisory authority in Poland.
